The Central New York Area Health Education Center (CNYAHEC) is a regional organization dedicated to improving access to quality healthcare in a 14-county area. Through collaborative efforts, CNYAHEC promotes the development and distribution of health professionals, offering healthcare workforce information, career exploration, and training programs for students, workers, educators, and employers.
CNYAHEC's programs include health career exploration, rural immersion experiences, the NYS AHEC Scholars Program, and events focused on addressing the opioid crisis. Additionally, CNYAHEC has established the L. Thomas Wolff, M.D. Scholarship Fund to support students and health practitioners in their educational pursuits.
