Established in 2002, Carlton Rochell Asian Art is an art gallery, specializing in exhibiting Indian and Southeast Asian artifacts. Located in New York, N.Y., the art gallery exhibits sculpture, paintings and decorative arts from India, Tibet, Nepal, Cambodia, Thailand and Indonesia prior to 1850. Some of the exquisite items showcased in the gallery include a collection of Himalayan and Cambodian bronzes. Carlton Rochell Asian Art is also a dealer of Asian artifacts and has supplied art pieces to various institutions, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, the Rubin Museum of Art, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Dallas Museum of Art, the Houston Museum of Fine Arts and the National Gallery of Australia, as well as to distinguished private collectors.
