Camp Tapawingo is a Christian girls camp located in Speculator, N.Y. The camp, opened in 1959, offers a variety of activities to its campers, including archery, Bible memory, camp craft, canoeing, fitness, handicrafts, sailing, sign language, swimming, tennis, water-skiing, and wakeboarding. In addition, it also offers drama, Bible class, hiking and a low-ropes challenge course. It offers an overnight camping off-site and a counselor-in-training program. The training program for girls is a three-week training program. CAMP-of-the-WOODS, the parent organization of Camp Tapawingo, is a Christian family resort and conference center. Camp Tapawingo also offers campus for tennis, challenge course and climbing wall.
