Established in 1927, Buffalo Urban League addresses the employment, housing and social needs of African-American immigrants. The organization works with future leaders and at-risk youth in the urban community. It partners with local employers and higher education institutions to provide distance learning through technology to youth and adults. The organization offers improved public housing through a community housing center. It also provides adoption and foster care services. Additionally, Buffalo Urban League offers placement, educational support and family counseling services, as well as operates various youth programs. Buffalo Urban League is located in Buffalo, N.Y.
