Brighter Choice Charter Schools is a public elementary charter school, offering educational and extracurricular programs to students in grades kindergarten through five. It has separate classrooms for girls and boys. The school provides students with a broad liberal-arts education, including phonics-based reading instruction, and offers a learning guarantee under which students are entitled to a privately funded scholarship to attend another public or private school if they fail any state exam in math, reading, or science after three years of attendance at the charter school. It provides computers in every classroom, in addition to a mobile computer lab of wireless laptops. Brighter Choice Charter Schools is located in Albany, N.Y.
