Brennan High School serves various disabled and nondisabled youngsters and offers a range of ongoing services from several consulting psychiatrists. It provides an after-school program to students who are unable to attend full-day school due to various disabilities. Brennan High School is a part of the Western Suffolk Board of Cooperative Educational Services, which is a regional educational service agency that provides educational opportunities to meet distinct needs in more than 15 school districts throughout the United States. Founded in 1948, the agency offers a range of administrative and management services. Its special education division provides education opportunities to children with various disabilities, including autism, mental retardation, and physical and sensory impairments. The agency serves over 1,000 students and offers nearly 400 courses.
