Working with architectural design, historic preservation, interior design, urban design and master planning, Beyer Blinder Belle is a firm of over 150 professionals, working in offices in New York, Washington D.C. and Beijing. Museums, educational facilities, transit centers, houses of worship, theaters and large-scale urban planning projects are among the project types for which Beyer Blinder Belle is known, in addition to commercial and mixed-use developments, residential complexes and governmental buildings. Beyer Blinder Belle was the recipient of the American Institute of Architects Firm Award, the highest honor given annually to a practicing architectural firm. The practice has also received three Presidential Design Awards; two Time Magazine Design of the Year Awards; five Lucy G. Moses Awards and numerous National Trust for Historic Preservation Awards. The firm began its practice in 1968.
