W.C. Mepham High School, established in 1935, is a coeducational secondary school offering educational instruction to students in grades nine through 12. The school has an enrollment of more than 1,000 students and offers classes in various subjects, including English, math, science, social studies, physical education, art, music, business, and family and consumer sciences. It also provides special education to students with special needs. The school colors are garnet and gray and its mascot is the pirate. Its curriculum comprises subjects, such as English, business studies, biology, chemistry, computer application, social studies, math, science and technology, and family and consumer sciences. The school also offers different extracurricular activities, such as art service club, English Honor Society, environmental interest club, French Honor Society, math league, key club, political forum, science club, student government, yearbook and National Honor Society. W.C. Mepham High School is a part of the Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District and is located in North Bellmore, N.Y.
