The Bard Globalization and International Affairs Program (BGIA) offers college students and recent graduates a unique opportunity to study international affairs and gain professional experience through internships in New York City. With seminar-style courses focused on non-state actors in international affairs and taught by practitioners in diverse fields, BGIA provides an intimate teaching environment. Students also have the chance to engage in discourse on timely global issues through the James Clarke Chace Memorial Speaker Series. BGIA students live in a student residence and co-living community in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, with access to thoughtfully designed shared spaces and community-building events.
