Our training system is melting pot of exercise/personal fitness, traditional martial arts, and combat sports (MMA and kickboxing). We offer a system that has its principals rooted in the traditional, but with its practices grounded in ring-based sport. All of the classes offered at Axios provide a genuine training experience to students of all levels, and our trainers are here to guide you every step of the way.
Specialties
Our fitness program is designed to provide fun, high-paced workouts. Combining heavy bag drills with callisthenic exercises, we teach clients to use their bodies to maximum potential. By taking our students away from sole heavy bag work and implementing circuit training, we offer ultimate fat burning and muscle-building workouts. Outfitted with a 9' tall functional fitness rig custom built by Move Strong--with various places to pull, dip, squat, and hang--we will give you a new workout you never thought possible! Axios offers an intense and honest approach to martial arts by combining a unique blend of karate and Burmese kickboxing. Bringing discipline, respect, and principals found in traditional martial arts to the intensity of sport-based Burmese kickboxing, the training system is highly effective inside the ring and on the street. Students train in communal classes where we encourage practitioners, both novice and advanced, to learn and grow together. Pairing new students with seasoned martial artists allows for hands-on help and guidance at any level. We not only offer striking classes, but grappling as well. Taught by Master Vlad Koulikov, a well-known and respected figure within the martial arts community, Axios hosts a Russian Sambo program twice a week combining principals from Judo, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and wrestling. Taught as a
