Dr. Cornish takes great honor in caring for her patients and community, as well as, maintaining longstanding relationships with her patients and their families. Dr. Cornish has particular interests in newborn care, childhood nutrition and management of obesity. She believes in preventative care and encouraging a healthy lifestyle. Dr. Cornish has experience in managing complex care NICU infants after discharge. Dr. Cornish is an ambassador in advocating for children's mental health in the pediatric primary care setting. She participates in various community outreach and advocacy initiatives, such as increasing childhood literacy programs at SIUH. Dr. Cornish is passionate about caring for her patients for years to come. Dr. Cornish is a Board Certified Pediatrician, Medical Director of Ambulatory General Pediatrics, Director of Ambulatory Pediatric Education, Rotation Director of Community and Advocacy, a Fellow of the Academy of Pediatrics and an Assistant Professor at Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine.
