Allied Industries, located in Jamestown, N.Y., is a division of The Resource Center, a private, nonprofit organization serving individuals with disabilities and their families and friends. It offers a wide variety of services, such as contract manufacturing and value-added services, and custodial and building maintenance services. The company also provides manufacturing and sale of proprietary lines of merchandise. Founded more than 25 years ago, Allied Industries offers a variety of industrial sewing services, including production of military products and equipment. Its products include protective nylon covers, insect barriers, hospital blankets, aerial delivery cargo bags, machine gun barrel cases, reconnaissance vests and military helmet covers.
