Aaron Faber focuses on three areas of expertise: contemporary studio jewelry, classic jewelry new and old, and collectible vintage timepieces. The gallery provides professional services such as appraisals ; fine jewelry repair and restoration ; and estate buying and selling. It also consigns private collections for sale. We invite you to visit us here online or at 666 Fifth Avenue, on West 53rd Street, in New York, across the street and slightly east of the Museum of Modern Art. Aaron Faber was founded in 1974 by Edward Faber as a showcase for artist-made jewelry presented in the studio jewelry section- for which the gallery is world-famous. In 1980, Edward Faber began collecting and presenting vintage watches and timepieces, and this personal passion grew into a formidable part of the gallery's design collection. Mr. Faber is co-author of American Wristwatches: Five Decades of Style and Design , now in its third printing. In 1975, Patricia Kiley Faber joined her husband Edward Faber to open the original Aaron Faber Gallery dedicated to the presentation of contemporary studio jewelry. She is a graduate gemologist, and a frequent lecturer in the field of studio jewelry. Aaron Faber is home to many professionals, including three gemologists ; a gallery director ; sales and service managers ; a director of technical services ; a watchmaker ; and innumerable dedicated people who have over the years contributed their expertise to create a unique design experience in the heart of Manhattan.
