History
The Burque Bakehouse is a bakery churning out pastries, breads, and small sweets that began as a stand at Albuquerque's downtown farmers' markets (Downtown Growers' Market & The Rail Yards Market), where we sold our pastries since 2015. At the end of 2020, we moved into our permanent location at 640 Broadway Blvd SE where you can grab our goods to-go in the South Broadway neighborhood of downtown Albuquerque. Everything we make is hand-crafted, hand-rolled and made with painstaking care in our Albuquerque, New Mexico bakehouse. Our ingredients are sourced from many local farms & mills in New Mexico and the surrounding four corners region. All of our croissants take 3 days to make. Some take 4! We put our heart and soul into The Burque Bakehouse, and we hope you love everything.
