HistorySilver City was founded in 1870. After many historical years, the Silver City Grant County Chamber of Commerce was established in 1905. For over 100 years, we have served as an advocate for business issues and we have served the needs of our communities in southwest New Mexico. Our mission is to serve our members by promoting business, commerce and tourism in Grant County. We are the only traditional Chamber of Commerce in Grant County. However, we also provide assistance to businesses in Hidalgo, Luna, Catron, and even Dona Ana counties in southwest New Mexico. Our Chamber of Commerce is the premier business organization in Grant County that brings together people and ideas intent on making our communities the best they can be.
