The Visiting Nurse Associations of Central Jersey is a voluntary, nonprofit organization that provides a range of health care services and programs. It offers nursing, bereavement support, case management, immunization, vaccination, wound care, referral, and hospice and HIV treatment services. The organization provides physical, speech, enterostomal, occupational, infusion, and art and music therapies. The Visiting Nurse Associations of Central Jersey offers flu and maternal child health programs, as well as organizes several health fairs. The organization has a staff of more than 800 employees, including nurses, therapists, social workers and home health aides. The Visiting Nurse Associations of Central Jersey is a part of the Visiting Nurse Associations of America, which is the national association of nonprofit visiting nurse agencies and home health care providers who treat more than 4 million patients every year. The Visiting Nurse Associations of America represents the largest network of nonprofit providers of influenza vaccine and employs over 100,000 clinicians.
