University Radiology, the largest provider of subspecialty radiology and teleradiology services in NJ, is comprised of over
95 Board Certified radiologists with advanced U.S.-based training and expertise in all modalities and all subspecialty areas.
In operation for more than 40 years, University Radiology staffs, manages and provides preliminary and final subspecialty
interpretations and consultative support for hospitals, imaging centers and other medical facilities, and serves as the
academic radiology faculty at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Our physicians interpreted over 1.2 million
radiology procedures per year.
Subspecialty Focus & Expertise
All of the physicians at University Radiology are Board Certified and U. S.-trained, with our radiologists completing 79
Fellowship programs: 20 Neuroradiology, 34 MRI/CT/US/Cross-Sectional, 7 Nuclear Medicine, 9 Interventional, 6 Pediatric,
4 Women’s Imaging, 4 General Radiology. Twenty-two of our radiologists have earned Certification of Added Qualifications
status: 10 Neuroradiology, 9 Vascular/Interventional, 3 Pediatric Radiology. Five of our radiologists are Fellows of the
American College of Radiology. One is a Fellow of the American College of Nuclear Physicians. One physician is a NIOSHcertified
B reader in Pneumoconiosis. As members of the faculty of the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine,
the commitment to continuing education takes on special significance.

physicians serving as Chairmen of the Radiology Departments. Each Chair closely manages his respective hospital’s
radiology operation to ensure that the best clinical coverage and support is provided around-the-clock. Over 600,000
radiologic procedures are performed at our hospitals each year.

The quality of the service we provide to patients and referring physicians is measured on an on-going basis. Each patient
receives a satisfaction survey to complete following their exam. Responses are mailed back to us postage-free. Responses
from all surveys are reviewed with University Radiology members and staff. Pertinent comments and.
University Radiology has developed working relationships with numerous hospitals, referring physicians, managed care
organizations, and clients. These relationships are very important to us. We take great care to insure that we are meeting
the unique needs of each organization. Established physician-to-physician and staff-to-staff contact/liaison programs help us keep the lines of communication open.
