Middletown Township Tax Collector Ray Chapman was elected to this office. His primary responsibilities include the collection of school district and township real estate taxes. In some cases, county real estate taxes are also collected. Solid waste collection and disposal fees are among certain special township assessments also collected by this office. The tax collector collects school district and township real estate taxes and, in some cases, county real estate taxes. Taxes levied under the authority of the Pennsylvania Local Tax Enabling Act (Act 511) such as the per capita tax may be appointed as part of the collection responsibility. This office is located on the second floor of this building.
