A member of the Archdiocese of Newark, St. Peter Academy is a co-sponsored school between St. Peter the Apostle Parish and Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish. The school was constructed in 1952 and had been led by the sisters from the Religious Teachers Filippini.
The school is currently led by Principal James McCarthy, formerly from Glen Rock High School.
All classes have SMART Boards, there is a a state of the art scince lab, computers in every classroom, a state of the art computer lab with laptops, after care is provided until 6pm. All teachers hold advanced degrees. Special teachers include a science teacher who teaches in the lab.
