Founded in 1952, St. Cassian School is a Catholic educational facility that serves students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. The elementary school focuses on the development of basic skills and Christian values. Its curriculum includes religion education, science, social studies, language arts, music, computer technology, Spanish and math. In addition, St. Cassian School operates a band, forensics club and student council. The school offers membership opportunities in the National Junior Honor Society. It has a home school association that sponsors seasonal events. St. Cassian School provides a range of sports activities, such as softball, basketball and cheerleading. The school offers several sacramental programs. It is operated under the auspices of The Parish of Saint Cassian and the Archdiocese of Newark.
