South Bergen Oral Maxillofacial Surgery was established in 1975 by Dr. Gerald P. Devlin and Dr. James P. DiLascio. Dr. Gerald P. Devlin, DDS grew up in Rutherford, NJ. He attended Fairleigh Dickinson University graduating in 1968 before graduating from Case Western Reserve Dental School in 1971. He completed his residency at Metro Health in Cleveland, Ohio in 1975. He was the Chairman of the Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Section for 20 years at St. Mary's Hospital in Passaic, NJ. Dr. James P. DiLascio, DDS grew up in Lyndhurst, NJ. He graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1967. He was nominated as one of America's Top Dentists. He completed his residency at Martland Hospital, Newark, NJ. He was the Chairman of the Oral Maxillofacial Section for 20 years at St. Mary's Hospital in Passaic, NJ and he was also the Clinical Instructor at Farleigh Dickinson University School of Dentistry for 3 years.
