Sivaram Rajan, MD is a member of Summit Healths Orthopedics and Sports Medicine team. Dr. Rajan is dual board-certified in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine. He has expertise in advanced arthroscopic knee and shoulder surgery, ligament reconstruction, shoulder instability surgery, and total joint replacement of the knee, shoulder, and hip.Dr. Rajan has particular interest in arthroscopic rotator cuff repair and ACL reconstruction and uses the most advanced state-of-the-art, minimally invasive techniques to optimize patient outcomes and facilitate an expedient recovery.Dr. Rajan believes in a personalized, compassionate approach to addressing a patients orthopedic issues. He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine and has written articles and given many lectures in the area of arthroscopic surgery and total joint replacement.Dr. Rajan has done medical mission work in Honduras with One World Surgery, helping train local surgeons in advanced surgical techniques. He is the recipient of multiple physician accolades, including NJ Monthly Top Doctors, NJ TopDocs, Bergen Magazine Top Docs, Patient Choice Award, and Bone and Joint Select Surgeon for Minimally Invasive Shoulder Surgery.When he is not caring for patients, Dr. Rajan enjoys golfing, skiing, traveling, and spending time with his wife and two children.
