Scullville Volunteer Fire Company provides fire suppression, emergency medical services and fire prevention programs to citizens. It responds to fire, medical emergencies, hazardous material incidents, rescue operations and firefighting. It conducts routine fire prevention inspections of all the industries, businesses, schools, parks and community-based residential facilities. The department also provides other services, such as conducting follow-up inspections, review various fire prevention education programs, and give fire safety speeches and presentations. It is operated by the Egg Harbor Township that also operates other departments, including Parks and Recreation, public works, tax collection and assessment and finance departments.
