The Engine No. 1 station of the Princeton Fire Department helps serve the residents of both Princeton Township and Princeton Borough. This station and the two other fire stations that make up the PFD respond to about 700 incidents each year, including auto accidents, structure fires and hazardous material spills. The department does not provide ambulance service.
