Piscataway Regional Day School provides specialized programs to students between the ages of 13 to 21. The school provides classroom-based instruction to students suffering from autism and severe multiple disabilities. It offers various instructional programs, such as functional academics, communication and recreational skills, pre-vocational training, and music and art education. Piscataway Regional Day School also provides specialized services that include inclusion support, parent training, job sampling, community field trips, and augmentative communication evaluation and instruction. It maintains a staff of therapists, nurses, trained instructional aides, social workers, counselors and specialized teachers. It is a part of the Middlesex Regional Educational Services Commission, which provides a range of educational services and programs to school districts.
