After 17 years of selling Paper Chase Gifts Outside invitations, stationery and personalized gifts from her home, and with her two daughters nearly grown, Janie realized her dream of opening her own store. On Memorial Day weekend of 1994, Janie opened the 1700 square foot Paper Chase on Atlantic Avenue in Margate, just one block from the beach and only a few miles from the famed Atlantic City boardwalk and casinos.
