Located right off Inman Ave., Oak Ridge Heights School has a small school, neighborhood vibe to it, and an involved parent group that helps the qualified staff achieve its goals for its students. The PTO, in fact, has its own website (reachable from the school's web page on the Woodbridge School District's site.)
Oak Ridge's Student Council takes the lead in marshaling students into collecting for Unicef, Toys for Tots, and giving twice a year to a local food bank, among other community-based charitable work. Even fourth graders get into the spirit, by collecting and donating goods to a women's shelter.
Joseph D'Orsi serves as principal of Oak Ridge Heights School.
