The New Jersey Principals and Supervisors Association, founded in 1981, provides a range of legal services related to job security, tenure protection, contract management and labor disputes. The association works to improve the quality of teaching and learning in New Jersey. It addresses critical and emerging issues relevant to school leadership. The New Jersey Principals and Supervisors Association also manages a political action committee. The association offers an online information portal, the NJPSA Legislative Action Center, which offers interactive links to officials and agencies. In addition, it manages print and electronic publications, including Capitol Update and Educational Viewpoints. The New Jersey Principals and Supervisors Association represents more than 7,000 principals, supervisors, directors and assistant superintendents.
