The Milmay Volunteer Fire Company, established in August 1943, is a dedicated fire department serving the Milmay community in New Jersey. Led by Chief Jacob Ruga and a team of experienced officers, the department is committed to providing efficient and effective fire and rescue services. With a fleet of well-maintained equipment, including a 1995 E-One 1000 gpm Engine and a 2007 Pierce 500 gpm CAFS 4 Wheel Drive, the Milmay VFD is equipped to handle various emergency situations.
As a vital part of the community, the Milmay Volunteer Fire Company also takes pride in honoring the service of local soldiers and recognizing those who provide fire and rescue services. The department unveiled a new monument in 2005, replacing a 60-year-old memorial, which now bears the names of all the soldiers from Milmay who served in World War II, as well as acknowledging military service in other wars. Committed to the safety and well-being of the community, the Milmay VFD continues to serve with dedication and professionalism.
