Literacy Volunteers of Morris County is a not-for-profit organization that provides one-on-one or small group tutoring in Basic Literacy and English as a Second Language to adults in Morris County. LVMC has been serving Morris County for over 20 years and currently serves over 500 students.
Students meet with a tutor for one hour a week, for a minimum of one year. There is no cost to the student for tutoring or materials. Literacy Volunteers of Morris County is a local, independently-funded affiliate of an international organization called ProLiteracy International, with volunteers worldwide providing students with instruction in Basic Literacy and English as a Second Language.
