Located behind an imposing metal security fence, adjacent to the National Guard's Lawrenceville armory, this building serves as the headquarters for the New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs. This department is responsible for managing, training and supplying New Jersey's National Guard units, and for providing services to veterans and their families. The National Guard Militia Museum of New Jersey is housed in the armory next door.
