Lauren Rosenblum, DO is a member of Summit Health's Family Medicine team. Dr. Rosenblum focuses on preventive care in children, adolescents, and adults as well as routine well womens care inclusive of pap smears and pelvic exams. I take a very patient-centered approach, realizing that each patient may require different treatment methods, says Dr. Rosenblum. She also encourages patients to be active participants in their health care. When they fully understand the importance of disease prevention and involve themselves in their treatment plans, they are able to live their healthiest lives, she says.Dr. Rosenblum received a Bachelor of Science from Brandeis University in Massachusetts and a Master of Science in biology from New York University (NYU). While studying at NYU, she completed research in toxicology, examining the impact of environmental agents on the immune system and human health. Her findings prompted her to enter the medical field where she could focus on disease prevention and help people live healthy lives, and in 2016, she received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Rowan University, School of Osteopathic Medicine.Dr. Rosenblum is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Osteopathic Association, and the American Medical Association.When not caring for patients, Dr. Rosenblum enjoys travel, photography, hiking, outdoor activities, cooking, and taking cooking classes to learn about different types of cuisine.
