The Land of Oz Learning Center is a cheery day care facility across the street from Lacey Township High School. The director of the center is Pamela DePasquale, and the day care has been in operation since the early 1970s. The Land of Oz provides care for children ages two through five. There are full- and half-day programs, as well as summer and before- and after-care programs. The school aims to give children a positive first experience in formal education. Classes at this institution foster physical development, emotional development, social relations and intellectual growth, and provides a safe environment for optimum development and growth. There is a Special Education teacher on staff for special needs children.
