Founded in 1973 by Carl Ahrens Price the law firm of Price & Price, LLC, continues to be at the forefront in matters relating to Elder Law and Estate Planning. With the addition of Casey Price to the staff in 1999, the firm expanded its resources to cover the areas of Special Education Law, as well as Special Needs & Trusts. The firm is proud of its mission to provide the South Jersey and Delaware Valley communities with the highest level of legal representation in these three areas of concentration. Carl Ahrens Price Recognized as an authority on Elder Law in South Jersey, Carl Ahrens Price has served as the head of the firm he founded since 1973. A member of numerous legal organizations including the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the AARP Legal Services Network and the Elder Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association, Carl is one of the few attorneys in the area to be designated a "Certified Elder Law Attorney" (CELA) by the National Elder Law Foundation. He is also the Co-Chairman of the Camden County Bar Association Committee on the Elderly and a member of the Estate Planning and Probate Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association. A graduate of New York University (B.A.) and the Boston University School of Law (J.D.), he holds professional licenses with the Supreme Court of the State of New Jersey, the Supreme Court of the United States, the United States 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States District Court of New Jersey, the United States Court of Military Appeals and the Supreme Court of California. A previously Commissioned Officer with the United States Air Force, Carl has lectured widely on the subjects of Elder Law and Special Needs & Trusts. His opinions have been published in various publications, and on television and radio, throughout the area. Casey Price joined Price & Price, LLC, with areas of concentration that included Elder Law, Estate Planning and Probate and Medicaid/Asset Protection Planning. Since that time he has expanded his area of concentration to include the discipline of Special Education Law, one of the very few attorneys in the Delaware Valley with a thorough understanding of this area of the law. Prior to joining the firm, Casey worked in the financial field, first with Solomon Smith Barney, and then later with Prudential Securities and Wheat First Butcher Singer (now Wachovia Securities). Casey is a member of such professional organizations as the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Elder Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association, as well as such parent/attorney advocacy groups as the Counsel of Parent Attorneys and Advocates (COPPA), the International Dyslexia Association and Children and Adults with Attention Deficit Disorders (CHADD). A graduate of Ursinus College (B.A.), Widener University School of Law (J.D. 1999) and Temple University Law School, where he received an LL.M. in taxation, Casey holds professional licenses with the Supreme Court of the State of New Jersey, the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court of New Jersey, and the United States District Court of Pennsylvania.
