Ginsburg Bakery is a family-run business that has been in operation since 1903. The product mix of the company changed in 1988 from bread and cake products to a specialty bread plant. In 1993, Atlantic City Magazine awarded the bakery Best Rye of the Jersey Shore. The bakery has benefited from supermarkets and various other food chains installing in-store bakeries. For Ginsburg Bakery this has presented opportunities to develop a line of par-baked, frozen rye, sourdough and Italian breads. Ginsburg Bakery is located in Atlantic City, N.J.
