The Teaneck Armory is home to the 250th Brigade Support Battalion. The Battalion was deployed in 2009 as part of the Infantry Brigade Combat Team, the largest deployment of National Guard troops since World War II. Members of the 250th Brigade Support Battalion have been deployed in the Global War on Terror and to major disasters including Hurricane Katrina. The armory includes a Family Assistance Center to provide resources for military families. A food pantry is also located at the Teaneck Armory. In addition to military activities, the armory includes a large soccer field and is often used a venue for large public events.
