ARI of Connecticut, located in Stamford, Conn., is a social service and welfare organization that was established in 1952. It provides special programs and medical services to people suffering from various disabilities. ARI operates a habilitation service department that provides basic support services to the community, food resources to the senior adults, and organizes various recreational activities, such as art and crafts, bowling, horticulture and excursions. It also provides assistance to individuals suffering from physical and mental disabilities with daily living activities, such as bathing, walking, grooming and personal hygiene. Additionally, ARI's medical department provides individualized medical services to people suffering from various disabilities residing in its managed apartments.
