Glenview Academy is a state-approved nonsectarian private day school for boys and girls, and is located in Fairfield, N.J. It offers classes from grades kindergarten through six for those who have learning disabilities that cannot be adequately addressed in the public schools. It was established in 1985 as an elementary program to serve students. Its curriculum includes language arts and reading, mathematics, social studies, science, visual arts, physical and health education. It helps students to gain the skills, confidence, pride and initiative necessary to become effective contributing members of society. The school also offers recreational activities to enhance the development of students' interpersonal skills. Its sports program includes soccer, basketball and softball. Glenview Academy additionally offers a summer school program.
