The Delaware River Port Authority is a regional transportation agency that serves people in southeastern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey. The authority owns and operates Benjamin Franklin, Walt Whitman, Commodore Barry and Betsy Ross bridges, which are part of the E-ZPass Electronic Toll Collection network. It also operates Port Authority Transit Corporation, RiverLink Ferry and the Philadelphia Cruise Terminal. The Delaware River Port Authority offers a motorist assistance program that responds to disabled vehicles on bridges and ramps. It dispatches a motorist assistance truck and closest crew of bridge mechanics to change flat tires, add antifreeze, motor oil, washer fluid and gasoline and offer repair services. In addition, the authority provides discount programs for senior citizens.
