Founded in 1882, Clinton Fire Department provides fire suppression and emergency medical services for more than 2,000 citizens in an area of over 1 square miles. It responds to more than 190 calls yearly and provides emergency response services. The department organizes monthly fire drills and meetings. It maintains a fleet of engines, trucks, trailers and rescue vehicles. It offers varies services that include extinguishing building fires, resetting fire alarms and supplying water at car accidents. Clinton Fire Department raises funds by hosting banquets and wedding receptions, as well as annual fund and blood drives. The department is located in Hunterdon County, N.J.
