The township's recreation department works closely with the borough's department of the same name to run municipal athletic programs and administer a variety of fields and recreational facilities.
The department also works with the Chatham Joint Recreation Advisory Committee, which is made up of five members—including Deputy Mayor Nicole Hagner.
