Established in 2000, the Center for Family Services is a nonprofit organization that offers a variety of educational, community outreach and direct services throughout the state of New Jersey. It administers various substance abuse treatment, counseling, child and family, emergency shelter and senior citizen programs. The organization also conducts an HIV/AIDS program that features a range of individual and family support services. Additionally, the Center for Family Services offers the Services to Assist Families and the Elderly program, also known as SAFE, which includes in-home counseling, care management, consultation, and assessment and referral services. The organization is approved by the Council on Accreditation, which is a national body of social and behavioral health care services. The Center for Family Services maintains an office in Williamstown, N.J.
