Presbyterian Church
Wright Memorial Presbyterian Church
This landmark Main Street church was founded in 1873, and claims an interesting history: Its namesake pastor, the Rev. Ormond W. Wright, founded a church in Dodge City. Legend has it, Wyatt Earp himself was a deacon. The building where the Presbyterian church is housed was a concert hall before it became a place of worship, and the active congregation works to keep its musical history alive with an accomplished choir and many live performances. Visit the Wright website for a full calender of services and events.
