Atlantic Psychotherapy works with children, teens, adults, families and couples. It specializes in treating children who have behavioral problems or problems with concentration due to recent stress or trauma. Clinical supervision and consultations are also provided for mental health issues. Individual and couples therapies are available, as are a variety of workshops and training sessions.
Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) provides 12 -20 sessions of behavior care for children who have suffered from stress or trauma. This program works with children who lose tempers easily or have difficulties with staying seated or playing quietly. It instructs caregivers on behavioral techniques that can be used to help create a better relationship with their child.
