Seabreeze Quilt Guild (SQG) is a private, non-profit organization that was established in 1980 as the fourth local Guild chartered by the New England Quilt Guild. Their goals include educating members through mentorship and guest speakers, working together to provide for communities and individuals in need, promoting and educating the public about the artistic components of quilts, and fostering quilting fellowship at Guild sponsored meetings and gatherings.
SQG holds monthly meetings on the second Tuesday of every month at the Senior Citizens Center in Exeter, NH. Their meetings typically include a business meeting, Show 'n Tell of quilts, door prize drawings, and various quilting-related activities such as speakers, workshops, demonstrations, and special programs. Guests are welcome to attend two meetings at no charge, and membership includes a monthly newsletter featuring Guild activities, block-of-the-month patterns, and information on trips and programs. With a membership cap of 80 members, SQG currently has openings for new members.
