Founded in 1959, New Hampshire Public Television offers a range of programs that entertain and educate people with local and national television programs. It provides instructional services for more than 200,000 students from kindergarten through high school. The television station provides professional development programs and technology training for educators in New Hampshire and neighboring states. Its station reaches over 500,000 families each week and broadcasts nearly 7,000 hours of programming a year. New Hampshire Public Television uses digital technology that provides broadcasts, as well as webcasts digital conferencing and instructional technology. Its award-winning public affairs program features statewide coverage of the people, places, politics, communities and culture. New Hampshire Public Television maintains a location in Durham, N.H.
