History
I started off, like so many photographers, shooting weddings for friends 'for my portfolio'. (Ask around, you'll hear a lot of that). But that grew into a full time job and now I've become a bit more particular about the weddings I take because my real love has become working in much smaller groups; one on one or couples are so great. Lately, the families I get to work with photographing weddings have really taken a turn. I think because I've been focusing more on the fashion/stylistic photography I've been introduced to some very creative people. They're up for almost anything and I love it!
Specialties
Photographs! Photographs can be snapshots of a moment. They can be creations of fine art with you as the subject. I tend to lean toward the latter. It's incredible to work with 'regular' people showing them the how beautiful and handsome they can look. Brides-to-be. Moms-to-be. Ladies. Gentlemen. And then, of course, those cutest little people. I almost feel bad for couples. It seems there's so much pressure to assign a title to the style of their wedding that it can loose their own personality. I've come to believe that each wedding, like each couple should have its own personality and style. Be inspired by others - but be yourself.
