Greenerd Press & Machine Company is a designer, manufacturer and dealer of a wide variety of hydraulic presses. The company dates back to 1883 when Edwin Bartlett purchased patents for the Arbor Press, which was invented by Robert Greenerd. Bartlett partnered with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to develop a full line of presses from -ton to 30 tons and began manufacturing Arbor Presses in Boston. In addition, Greenerd Press & Machine has more than 60 years of experience in the design and manufacture of hydraulic presses. Since 1934, the company has built and sold thousands of standard and custom presses for assembly, blanking, forming, drawing, compression molding, staking, coining, trimming and riveting. Greenerd also continues to manufacture and market several Arbor Press machines. The company is based in Nashua, N.H.
