Granite State College, also known as GSC, offers associate s and bachelor s degrees, as well as postbaccalaureate programs for teacher education and transfer opportunities for more than 50,000 students. Founded 1972, it maintains nearly 10 academic centers throughout the state of New Hampshire. The college s associate s degree curriculum includes arts, general studies, behavioral science and early childhood education. Granite State College provides classes in the areas of liberal studies, applied technology, behavioral science, business management, criminal justice and self-design. It also offers instruction in human development, investment principles, financial management, human resource administration, and educational and social psychology. The college is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). It is affiliated with the University System of New Hampshire, which also operates various other colleges. Granite State College maintains a location in Concord, N.H.
