Founded in 1967, CAMP Systems International is a provider of aviation management products and services. It is owned by Warburg Pincus, a private equity investor since 1971. CAMP, an acronym for Computerized Aircraft Maintenance Programs, first designed products for Gulfstream I operators in the 1970s. Today, the company s offerings are made for more than 116 models and varieties of airplanes made by more than 15 airframe manufacturers. Products include maintenance tracking and planning programs and safety products. The company also helps aircraft owners manage regulatory compliance. Headquartered in Ronkonkoma, N.Y., CAMP Systems International has North American locations in Florida, Kansas, New Hampshire and New Jersey, as well as Quebec. It also has facilities in Asia and Europe.
